The First Impression To Your Open Source Project

Having a well written and understandable README file is the key to making sure you grab the attention of the curious and keep the skeptical reading.

If your childhood was anything like mine, you probably heard your mother say more than once, "You never get a second chance to make a first impression." This, of course, was ultimately followed by a rolling of the eyes or anything that constituted a complete distaste for an obvious statement under the guise of being profound. Like all good things from your youth, this naivety will eventually come to an end and at some point in your adult life you will most definitely acknowledge the wisdom in that statement.

Hello, World

It's a cold, dark, scary place...turns out, it's not so cold.

I have an admission, confession, or whatever you want to call it...I've lived my adult life in a state of fear. Fear that I am not good enough. Fear that I will be a disappointment. Fear that I will fail. Fear of rejection. Fear so paralyzing, that it keeps me from doing the things I actually want to do.
